Students are taught to think critically, apply knowledge to new situations and develop skills needed to become lifelong learners able to adapt and thrive in our ever-changing world. Our St Leo’s Teaching and Learning Framework enables students to identify the attributes and dispositions that we as a community have identified as significant to their learning, and enables them to consider the continuous process of improvement. This ensures we deliver authentic Catholic education with care and compassion with the image of the learner at its core.
Our dedicated staff bring a diverse range of experience and expertise to foster the individual growth of each student. We know that relationships are imperative to a student’s experience with learning and school. While we pride ourselves on the academic development of students, we embrace a diversity of student capabilities and provide academic challenges and support for different learning styles, rates and abilities. Our Learning Diversity teams support our teaching and learning in a variety of ways, and our unique Community Tutoring Program offers specialised support to students with diverse needs.
