Our academic results are consistently strong in a broad range of subjects, with students regularly appearing in the Higher School Certificate (HSC) Premier’s High Achiever and All-rounder lists. Over 70 percent of our students are offered a university place each year (state average is 30 percent). Our overall scores reflect the ever increasing strength of our academic results.

2025 Results

Our Class of 2025 cohort of 135 students studying 66 subjects achieved the following outstanding results:

• College Dux was Oscar Koopman with an ATAR of 98.5, and Proxime was Alex Fitzgerald with 97.6
• ‘Top Achievers’ (State Placegetters) – Anna Ziolkowski placing eighth in the state for Music 1.
• 53 Distinguished Achievers List mentions (achievement of Band 6)
• 41% achieved Band 5 and 6 results
• Five students had major works nominated for HSC Showcases – Oscar O’Neill nominated for OnSTAGE (Drama), and Hamish Lees, Chloe Mostyn, and Anna Ziolkowski nominated for ENCORE (Music), Jake Mezgec nominated for SHAPE (Industrial Technology – Timber)
• Thanks to our comprehensive academic programs, St Leo’s SMH School Ranking improved by 31 places in 2025!
