CSBB ENROLMENT INFORMATION
  • St Leo’s is proud to be part of the Catholic Schools Broken Bay (CSBB) network of schools and follows the CSBB Enrolment Process and Enrolment Principles (see headings below).
  • CSBB Secondary schools generally make offers of enrolment 2 years prior to the commencement year for Year 7.
  • Enrolment for other years, Year 8 to Year 12, continues throughout the year. Please contact the St Leo’s directly to discuss current availability.
* ST LEO’S – LATEST ENROLMENT UPDATE *
  • Offers for YEAR 7 2026 have been made, with a substantial waitlist remaining. Further late applications for 2026 will be added to our waitlist.
  • Offers have been made for YEAR 7 2027 and 2028, also with substantial waitlists. Further applications for 2027 and 2028 will also be added to our waitlist.
  • We encourage enquiries for 2029 and beyond.

Offers to Waitlists: Offers are made as soon as possible to those on waitlists for each year group as we are advised of circumstances changed by those who have accepted offers. We advise all interested families to apply as soon as possible if they would like to be added to our waitlist (note St Leo’s does not charge application or enrolment fees).

New Enquiries: New enquiries should first complete the CSBB Enrolment Application Form (below). Our Registrar will then contact you within 1-2 school days (during term time) to advise of the latest information regarding your relevant year group/s.

Priority Feeder Schools: If your child is currently enrolled in a St Leo’s Priority Feeder School or any CSBB primary school, you are eligible for PRIORITY enrolment. However, we cannot guarantee a place, and you must still initially complete an Enrolment Application Form (below) to notify us of your interest in St Leo’s by the required date in order to be considered for an enrolment offer or added to our waitlist. The date we receive the full Application Form is noted as the date of application.

When to Apply: As a general guide, we suggest you complete an online Enrolment Application Form (below) ASAP and complete the enrolment application for your child no later than Years 3 or 4.

Current Availability: We are currently near maximum capacity with waitlists for all year groups. These waiting lists however are constantly evolving as we are advised of changed circumstances by current families, and contact those next on our waitlists as soon as places become available.

CSBB ENROLMENT PROCESS

Step 1 |Contact School for Enrolment Application:
For all applications, please enquire or apply HERE, or contact St Leo’s directly: stleos@dbb.catholic.edu.au

CSBB Enrolment Application Form

Step 2 | Complete Enrolment Application:
Complete the CSBB Enrolment Application form and submit with supporting documentation directly to stleos@dbb.catholic.edu.au
*Note: Sensitive documents (e.g. birth certificates, passports) must be sighted in person. The Enrolment Application cannot be finalised until all required documentation has been received, sighted, and verified.

Step 3 | Enrolment Review and Assessment:
This step provides an opportunity for schools to understand the student’s individual needs and gather any additional information that may support their enrolment and transition. It is a collaborative process involving families and schools, ensuring thoughtful discernment and shared understanding.
In secondary settings, a Family Meeting is often requested to gather additional information and support the enrolment process. This provides an opportunity for families to engage directly with the College and share insights about the student. However, in some cases, a Family Meeting may not be required, particularly when the CSBB Enrolment Principles and existing information sufficiently support the application.
Where students are transitioning from a CSBB primary school, collaboration will occur directly between the secondary school and the relevant primary school. This approach helps ensure continuity of understanding and support for the student’s transition, even in cases where families may not meet directly with the College Principal.
Strong partnerships between CSBB primary and secondary schools are essential to
maintaining a consistent and supportive enrolment experience.

Step 4 | Enrolment Offer or Waitlist:
After the application has been reviewed and all relevant information has been collected and assessed, you will be contacted directly by the school regarding your application.
The outcome of your enrolment application is based on our CSBB Enrolment Principles (see below) and supporting information.

Step 5 | Confirmation of Enrolment:
Following an Enrolment Offer, all parties to the Enrolment Application will be asked to sign and complete the Enrolment Agreement by a requested date. Confirmation of Enrolment will only be confirmed once the Enrolment Agreement is signed and
submitted.
Once the signed Enrolment Agreement has been submitted and verified against the Enrolment Application, you will receive a Confirmation of the Enrolment.

Step 6 | Welcome to Catholic Schools Broken Bay:
Once you have received the Confirmation of Enrolment, we will then provide you with transition dates to welcome your family to our school community.
