ASSEMBLY AWARDS | A number of other awards were also presented at this week's College assembly, again showcasing the many opportunities and talents of our students.![]()
CSBB Director of Schools, Mr Danny Casey was on hand to present awards to our Battle of the Chefs team who won the Dish of the Day at this competition last week.![]()
Head of Sport, Ms Nottage happily presented more sports awards, this time to our Senior Girls and Boys Netball teams, following their wins at the CSBB Championships recently. She also presented badges to students selected in the Combined Catholic Colleges (CCC) representative teams.![]()
We were then treated to an impressive performance by the Pride Hip-Hop troupe, who competed in the Extreme Dance Challenge last weekend.
COMPASSION & COMMUNITY | Last night, the St Leo's community came together once again for our annual Vinnies Winter Sleepout, with 140 students choosing to spend the night 'sleeping rough' in solidarity with those experiencing homelessness.![]()
While the Sleepout raises vital funds and awareness for an issue that affects far too many people, it is also a powerful reminder of the compassion, generosity and community spirit that define St Leo's. ![]()
Throughout the evening, students embraced every aspect of the experience, including an insightful presentation from a Vinnies representative that challenged common misconceptions about homelessness and encouraged some thoughtful reflection.![]()
We are incredibly proud of every student who took part, not only for braving a chilly night, but for their commitment to making a positive difference through their ongoing fundraising efforts.![]()
A huge thank you to Ms Andrews for her organisation of the event and inspiring our students to put their faith into action. Thanks also to the staff who generously gave their time overnight, prepared soups, and supported the event in so many ways.![]()
Together, we continue to show that even small acts of kindness and cooperation can have a lasting impact.![]()
